Data Migration Portal is the glue that binds the various components of the Randr Web Business Suite (see below for a list of the components of the Web Business Suite). I have also referred to it as the traffic cop.

Datamigration Portal is a simple and flexible data gateway (messaging) that passes information between portals and legacy systems. Datamigration Portal was designed as the primary means of moving data between the Randr Portals as well as between other portals and legacy systems. Datamigration accepts CSV files, XML input and direct calls from other portals. It performs simplified messaging functions between applications and is the primary means of moving data between the various Randr Portals.

There are many upgrades, feature enhancements and fixes with this latest release which are aimed at helping you to grow your business.

In addition to the normal files for download, we have also a Run Time DVD download which includes all the Web Business Suite Portals. It is 1.5 gig so be patient as you download, but this will allow you to try out all the Web Business Suite Portals without any installation, just pop in the DVD. If you have problems with such a large download, you can order a DVD through our website and we will send it snail mail. You can use the run time DVD for demo/trial purposes and you can also load the software from the DVD.

Highlights of Key Changes in Release 1.0.1

Order portal order export now passes every field to data migration portal. In addition to the current download for import into Great Plains,
OP orders are now pass into the Randr eBusiness Suite and where they become quotes.

Order portal orders are now being save so Sales portal can pick them up for adding customers as prospects and accumulating the total orders
and amounts purchased.

We have added configuration tags for these new options plus a tag to indicate if DMP should format orders into the Great Plains export format.

Data migration portal now takes orders from the eBusiness Suite and passes them to Sales Portal as commissions

We have added a migration log so you can monitor the activities of DMP. This will be expanded on and add to the Infoportal Sales portal
in a future release.

Data migration now formats orders from the EBusinesssSuite into EDI 850 transactions that can be FTP'ed, downloaded, or we also have a
direct push into and iSeries file. The formatted transactions can be sent to a van or imported into and EDI translator.

There are new database scripts to run - These are in the Sales Portal as the 2 portals share the same database.
